Meet the Instructors
Shaide, vocalist and pianist graduated from the University of Colorado with a degree in Music Performance & Technology. Before completing her undergraduate degree in Colorado, Shaide studied at the Berklee College of Music in Barcelona, Spain with the Fundacio Conservatori Liceu under Orial Sana. In her time at both universities her training has had an emphasis on music theatre and jazz repertoire.

MaKesa is a Rock artist from Texas. She was classically trained vocally for 8 years and studied piano to develop her musicality. After high school, MaKesa continued her education at Los Angeles College of Music, majoring in Vocal Performance. There she grew her knowledge in music theory, arranging, vocology, and performance in popular genres. Now with a Bachelor's in Music, MaKesa is currently gigging and releasing music with her band Mali Edge and doing session work with grammy nominated artist like Säje.

Garrison is a singer, pianist, and songwriter from Denver, Colorado. He spent a lot of his childhood in piano lessons and classical choirs while performing contemporary music for fun. Around high school, he started studying different styles of vocal music including classical, jazz, and more contemporary styles such as pop, indie, and alternative. He attended Berklee College of Music and graduated with a degree in Songwriting, Vocal Performance, and Electronic Production and Design. While attending, he taught students in his hometown over the summer before moving to Los Angeles and teaching here at Allegra.

Lucy Rodriguez is a singer, actor, model, writer, and teacher from Los Angeles, CA. She received her BFA in Musical Theatre at NYU and continues to perform on stage regularly.
JaMichael is a multi -genre flautist from New York currently living in Los Angeles California Pursuing a career as an artist and session musician . JaMichael studied at both Berklee college of music and New York University focusing in composing , theory , and Flute studies . Living in both cities . JaMichael has had opportunities to work with artists like Desmond Child , Solange, and many more. JaMichael takes a lot of His influences from classic Indian music, Robert Glasper , J-dilla and contemporary classical flute music .

Natalie Pang is a Los-Angeles based pianist, music theorist, educator, and composer. She is a recent graduate from the Eastman School of Music, where she completed her Masters of Music in Piano Performance and Master of Arts in Music Theory Pedagogy. She received her Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance and Music Theory also from Eastman,Natalie is a passionate educator and teacher and has over ten years’ of experience working with students of all ages from beginner to advanced levels in Montreal, Rochester and Los Angeles. In her spare time, Natalie loves running, biking, scootering, and learning the theremin!

Heddie was raised in a dance studio from the time she could walk, her mother was a dance teacher so it was a rare moment if she didn’t spend it in the studio. Hetehya started studying voice and music when she was seven and continued this into college where she majored in Performing Arts with a focus in Musical Theatre at AMDA College of the Performing Arts. Heddie graduated in October of 2019 and her first job out of college was as a dance teacher at Miss Melodee Studios. From there she started working at Allegra Music Academy as a voice, performance and piano teacher. “Music is the love of my life and I am grateful for any chance to work with it and share it. When I’m not teaching, I’m writing music or painting."

Sumeet, a South African multi-instrumentalist and film/TV composer, is ready to captivate you with enchanting melodies. Sumeet's primary instruments are the violin, viola, and piano. Having graduated from the prestigious Berklee College of Music in 2017, Sumeet is completing his Master of Fine Arts in music production and composition while helping the many talents at Allegra.
At the academy, Sumeet guides students through a vibrant exploration of diverse musical styles and genres.

Timothy is a multi-instrumentalist, producer, and visual artist from Detroit, MI (originally from Cleveland, OH). After graduating with a BBA in Marketing from Eastern Michigan University, Timothy focused on honing his musical skills within the Detroit Music scene, playing bass and drums with notable Detroit artists such as Detroit Che, Jaye Prime, Greater Alexander, The DayNites, among others. His most recent musical accolades include two 2021 Detroit Music Awards (DMA) Nominations as an Outstanding Rap Producer and Outstanding Rap Composer. He was also a three-time 2020 DMA Nominee as an Outstanding Urban Musician, Outstanding Rap Composer, & Outstanding Rap Producer.

Charlie is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, producer, and sound designer. He graduated from Northwestern University in 2021 with his major degree in Film, and minor degrees in Sound Design and Music Technology. With over 17 years of experience on multiple instruments, Charlie loves to be able to teach a diverse array of instruments and skills. He takes a lot of value in pursuing the path on any instrument that works best for the student - there's never necessarily just one "right" way to learn or perform, so there's always a way to find how to make the sounds that we want to make, as well as encouraging learning as an ongoing, lifelong process.

After graduating from Berklee College of Music in 2017, where he pursued a dual major in Music Business Management and Guitar Performance, Alex decided to pursue his dream of becoming a touring musician. He embarked on a journey that took him to various arenas and venues across the world, performing in genres such as pop, rock, and gospel. Over the years, Alex transitioned from drums and saxophone to become a skilled guitarist. While Alex thoroughly enjoys performing, he has found equal joy in sharing his love of music with others through teaching. For over a decade, he has been instructing students of all levels, from novices to advanced players, encompassing both children and adults. His teaching expertise spans music theory and performance, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the subject matter.
